St Hedwig Volleyball preps for Queen of the Court
The annual ‘Queen of the Court’ High School Volleyball tournament is this weekend 8/20-21 at ASC in Anaheim.
Last year at this time, the St. Hedwig 7th/8th grade team won this tournament for their division… sort of. They had to compete against High School Freshman teams. One team they beat last year was a Mater Dei Frosh team with some recent alumni. Both sides were gracious – but now the pressure is on for a repeat performance this year!
St. Hedwig has been practicing this week at AIM in preparation for the competition. They rounded out a few days of hard practice with an alumni game and BBQ at AIM last night. Pretty sure the alumni team made the girls earn their dinner.
